The Australian Federal Government's Green Loan Program offers an interest-free loan up to $10 000 to assist home-owners to install solar products, water saving devices and other energy efficient products.
As part of this scheme you are entitled to a FREE home energy assessment by a qualified assessor who can help you realise the cost and energy saving potential of your home.
After receiving the results of the assessment, householders might wish to take action on the suggestions outlined in the report to help make their homes more sustainable. To help householders with this, the Federal Government will cover the interest on loans up to $10 000 for up to 4 years.
This loan can be arranged through the householder's participating institution of choice.
