Solar Credits, the Australian Government's replacement to the Solar Homes and Communities Plan, is designed to encourage households, businesses and community groups to install small-scale sources of renewable energy including solar photovoltaic systems, wind generators and hydro generators.

Solar credits are based on your system's potential to generate renewable energy. The pice of solar credits (like RECs) flucturates according to market conditions, but one thing is for sure, the larger the system you decide to install, the more solar credits you'll recieve.
